MATURITY

Sunday message: Just because you pray, read your bible, worship, go to church, even speak in tongues make you more mature. Maturity comes from the judgment you've develop in making right decisions. I know a lot of good believers who love God and have the greatest of intensions and motives, yet they lack good judgment, reasoning to make the right decisions. They live in a perpetual cycle of emotional outburst, of blaming others for their lives, they react to circumstances rather than responding to them, in fact you can count on them always running away when the pressure comes. Why is that? They haven't matured, no judgment!

Apostle Paul said: 1 Cor 13:11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought (reasoned, judged) as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Reasoned- to take an inventory, that is, estimate —conclude, (ac-) count (of), + despise, esteem, impute, lay, number, reason, reckon, suppose, think (on), judge, discern.

I truly believe that many Christians who have trouble walking in their divine its not lack of passion or even sin, its a failure to mature. Beloved His grace is sufficient to help us develop the reasoning and good judgment we need. The word says; acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He shall direct your paths.

Maturity is a psychological term used to indicate how a person responds to the circumstances or environment in an appropriate. This response is generally learned rather than instinctive, and is not determined by one's age. Maturity also encompasses being aware of the correct time and place to behave and knowing when to act appropriately, according to the situation and the culture of the society one lives in.

In other words, how do you respond to circumstances or develop Judgment to know; with who, what, when, and where. Its not your action thats the problem, their just a by-product of how you reason or judge a situation.

The mature graduate from one level to the next.
They are not repeating the same test every year.

The immature constantly need to be governed by rules.
The immature become very legalistic in their approach, especially with others. They demand so much from others but very little of themselves.
They are always referring how it used to be, the law, and can’t enjoy grace.
The immature are led by the law, yet the mature are led by the spirit.

James 1:13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.

The mature understand righteousness, they don’t need to be watched like little children.. The mature have received and walk in GRACE.

James 1:14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

The mature have developed judgment, reasoning, and know how to choose between good and evil.

Beloved my desire is that the body of Christ mature and by doing so develop weight in the spirit so that we can influence the world and be respected as a corporate force in the earth.
